Al-Kafeel Specialized Hospital in Karbala has announced its intention to seek a new technology that uses a chemical substance for early detection of colon cancer through stool samples. Doctors point out that this technology is characterized by being cost-effective and easy to use.
The hospital's director, Dr. Jasim Al-Ibrahimi, emphasized that Al-Kafil Specialized Hospital is always striving to embrace and develop new medical technologies by organizing scientific seminars and workshops. In this context, a workshop focused on the new technology for early detection of colon cancer, which is one of the most common types of cancer among both men and women.
Studies show that early detection of cancer can achieve significant success in treatment and save patients' lives. This technology relies on using a chemical substance mixed with stool samples, and through the analysis of these samples, early detection of cancer can be achieved.
Dr. Al-Ibrahimi highlighted the hospital's efforts to attract government interest in this technology and support it, with the goal of making it available and adopted in Iraqi hospitals to maximize its benefits in serving patients. He emphasized the importance of raising awareness in society about the importance of early cancer detection and its benefits for quick treatment.
Dr. Pharmacist Hassan Abdul Ali also emphasized the importance of this technology, its simplicity, and its affordability for early detection of colon cancer. He pointed out that this technology can be effectively implemented in Iraq and will serve a wide range of the community, especially individuals over the age of forty, for early detection and effective treatment.
These efforts represent a tangible initiative to improve patient care and early detection of serious diseases such as colon cancer, providing a better opportunity for treatment and recovery.
